The Montjuíc Hill is one of our absolute favorite tours. This tour combines running, history, architecture, nature and the Olympic Spirit in one run. And on top of all of that we will have amazing views over the mediterranean sea and Barcelona.

This city hill was already part of Barcelona's history during the founding years about 2000 years ago, when a little fishermen settlement was located on the other side of this 176m high hill. While running you will discover why the name Montjuïc was given to this hill, why the fortress is a symbol for suppression and resistance of the Catalan people. But also a place for unforgettable views over the sea while running along the walls of this mighty castle.

The Olympic Park, stadium and venues will be another highlight of this running tour. The Games 1992 changed the city completely and we will see where athletes enjoyed two weeks of competition and being one sports family. Many interesting stories about the ceremony and the concept, which changed all future Olympic Games.

On the 10K tour distance option we will run also through the Teatre Grec park, an amphitheater, before we return to the World Fair center of 1929, Palau Nacional and the Magic Fountain where we also find a milestone of modern architecture - do you like to know which one?
